Welcome to the LELOLA Archive
LELOLA is an anime website that I created in 1997. I updated it daily with content and news until November 2006 when I ran out of time and energy. In 2008, I made the difficult decision to place LELOLA on "permanent hiatus", announcing that LELOLA would no longer be updated. Instead of shutting the site down, I "archived" it, leaving most of the content available online. It is this archive that you are viewing right now.

In the early 2000s, LELOLA peeked in popularity as series like Digimon, Escaflowne and Yu-Gi-Oh! were airing on North American television. At its prime, LELOLA received over 8000 unique hits daily. Content wise, not much on this site has changed since then. In many ways, this archive of LELOLA exists as a time capsule.


Looking for something?
When I made LELOLA an archive, I moved the entire site into a folder, and so the URL of every page has been changed. What was once located at LELOLA.net is now located at LELOLA.net/archive. If you're trying to find something, try adding "archive" to the URL, or take a look at the left-hand sidebar. ;3

Just to note: I will still be updating convention and event photos, but they will be posted at a new site: LELOLA.net/coverage. Be sure to visit! :3
