Touya is Sakura Kinomoto's older brother. He has some magic powers and can see spirits. As well, he can sense things, such as Yukito Tsukishiro isn't human, the Mirror isn't really his sister, and Cerberus is more than a stuffed toy. But Touya loses his power when he gave it to the one he cared for, Yukito, to help him support his true form, Yue, so that they both won't disappear. Before he loses his power, Touya could see his mother, Nadeshiko Kinomoto, and he became friends with the Mirror. He always calls Sakura "monster", to annoy her, but he truly loves her, though he doesn't always show it. He is the reason for her fear of ghosts, because when she was younger and caught him talking to spirits, he would make up a story about ghosts and frighten her, knowing he wouldn't be able to explain it to her. He was once in love with Kaho Mizuki, and was hurt when she left for England. But she told him that the next time she saw him, he would have found the one he really loved and she was right.
