DUB EPISODE 49 -- "Lee's Hidden Strength: Forbidden Secret Jutsu!"

• This episode continues the battle between Gaara and Rock Lee, although not much happens in the battle itself, since most of it is dedicated to flashbacks of Rock Lee's past.

• I always liked how Rock Lee had no natural talent, but still managed to become so respected and strong. I also love it how he shows moments of weakness -- times he felt like giving up -- and that despite it, Rock Lee still doesn't give up and perseveres. It's really inspirational.

• In a flashback, Tenten mentions Tsunade. I think this is the first time she's mentioned.

• When Kakashi learns that Gai has taught Rock Lee to open more of his inner gates, he's very disappointed in and angry with Gai. This comes back into play in the next few episodes. It also makes me wonder if Gai did the "right" thing teaching Rock Lee the technique.
