2006/10/20---YTV anime stuff

My review for Naruto episodes 50 is up here and episode 51 is up here. :3 Also, YTV has been airing Eureka Seven episodes out of order. On a related note, according to the Eureka Seven episode guide on YTV's website, episode three doesn't exist. Also, in their gallery, images 2-4 are the same as images 6-8. o___O; And now for something different: here's the Italian opening for One Piece. "You smart-alecky little brat. 2006/10/16---Where there's a will...

The new pic and quote of the week are up. The pic of the week is of Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist. It's pretty self-explanatory, as are the words on the pic. I'm not sure where the scan came from, but it's one of my favorite anime images of Ed ever. I think it captures a persevering powerful side of this character that we all know is there, but rarely see. 2006/10/15---Anime Evolution coverage is up!

My convention photos from Anime Evolution are finally up! There are well over a thousand to look through! Check'em out! I just want to say that I loved this convention. This was my second time attending Anime Evolution, and it is, by far, my favorite convention. I had so much fun~! ♥ Also, I'm very proud of the way most of the photos came out. My camera loves natural lighting and the architecture of Simon Frasier University made a gorgeous backdrop. Not to mention all the shiny cosplayers. It was shiny cosplayer heaven! X3 I hope you enjoy my photos as much as enjoyed taking them. :3 Because I can, I want to post a few of my favorite photos from the convention here on the main page. These are just photos that I felt came out nicely. X3 Yes, one of those is Scott McNeil. XD Anyway, those are only five out of over 1200 photos. Please be sure to check them all out! 2006/10/13---HYD 2 confirmed; seiyuu cosplay

The second Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) live-action drama has been confirmed, and will air this coming January in TBS in Japan. You can see ads for it here. In Canadian news, ANN reports that Bandai has fixed it so that Canadian DVD releases are now on par with the US, instead of being a week behind. Also, ANN has posted a translation of the results of TV Asahi's survey to find the top 100 anime in Japan. You can see the list here. On a random and entertaining note, the seiyuu for the new Death Note anime cosplayed as their characters for the anime's premiere earlier this month. 2006/10/08---Let your imagination soar

The new pic and quote of the week are up. The pic features Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess. The smaller words on the pic are actually a quote from Jonas Salk, who is a person... not an anime. XD Anyway, I think it came out looking rather pretty. :3 The quote of the week comes from chapter 63 of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. Dr. Knox's son says it to his father. Dr. Knox's son knows that his father has committed crimes in the past, but he makes the point that his father is a doctor. Even though he knows of his father's sins, and that his father cannot be forgiven, he believes that his father still has the capability and the capacity to save lives. "But does that mean it's okay to run? Even though you have the skills to save people's lives, you'll throw that away because you're scared? 2006/10/07---Live-action Ouran Rumor

My review of episode 49 of Naruto is up here. Rumor Mill There are rumors of a live-action Ouran Koukou Host Club series flying around. I'm hesitant to post this, since I have yet to find any adequate proof, but a live-action Ouran Koukou would be so unbelievably awesome! Anyway, tentative cast list can be found here and here, and post about it on the ouranhostclub LJ community can be found here. Again, I have no proof, but if Horikita Maki (Nobuta from Nobuta wo. Produce, Tsurara from Kurosagi) plays Haruhi, the Izaki twins from the boyband FLAME play Kaoru and Hikaru (after the Devilman movie, they're still letting them act?), and a bunch of Kamen Rider actors are in it... 2006/10/05---Fear my generic motives!

ANS reports that the second NANA movie will have an original ending that will wrap up the movies. The movie will theoretically be the last NANA movie, and will cover up to volume 12 of the manga. The manga series is still ongoing in Japan. In other news, the website for the series that will never end the new Saiyuki OVA (Reload -burial-) is up here.
