Ken is the most normal of the Weiss members. He’s kindhearted and when not on a mission, can almost always be seen with a smile on his face.
Ken’s weapon of choice is the bugnuk, which are claw-like blades one uses with their hands. At first Ken seems to have doubts about killing people, but he always follows through with a mission. He’ll even put his fist through your chest if he has to.
Ken’s enjoys soccer and when he’s not at the flower shop or on a mission, chances are that Ken’s at the soccer field kicking a ball around.
Before he joined Weiss, Ken was a J-league soccer player. He had what it takes to make it to the top, but at the top of his career, things came crumbling down.
Since he was a kid, Ken’s best friend was a guy named Kase. Kase and Ken were even on the same J-league soccer team.
At the J-league championship game, Ken was drugged and couldn’t play properly. Kase stood up for him, but thinking that Ken sabotaged the game for money, Ken was kicked out of the league. This devastated Ken and his future. After an incident at a warehouse, Ken and Kase each believed that the other had died in a fire.
Near the beginning of the series, Ken meets up with Kase again, but things aren’t what they appear to be. It is revealed that Kase has been involved with numerous murders and Weiss is ordered to kill him. Ken stands up for his friend believing him to be innocent, however, Kase tries to kill Ken. It’s revealed to Ken that Kase is the one that drugged him before the championship game.
Ken can’t believe that Kase would do this to him, but after he finally realizes everything in him life was destroyed by his best friend, he does what he has to do. With tears in his eyes, Ken carries out his mission and executes Kase.
The experience shatters Ken and makes him question why he fights. Ken fights not to avenge someone, but to make sure that no one else has to go through the same things that happened to him.
