Hello everyone.

We would like to thank you all (belatedly, we know, but we've both been dead on our feet) for coming out this Sunday and making the picnic the success it's always been. You were all awesome and we were so glad to see you all this year!

We'd like to announce that this will be the last year the two of us run this picnic. It's been an excellent nine years and we've had lots of fun, but between how large this event is getting and our own hectic schedules, not to mention the fact that we started this because there were no other such events in Toronto (and now there are plenty), we feel it's time to step back and focus on other things.

We encourage you to run your own Centre Island picnics, High Park photoshoots, and other cosplay-related events. As we've said in the past: all you need to do to host an event is plan it, invite others, and have a good time.
