Welcome to the website for the Toronto Cosplay Picnic.

The Toronto Cosplay Picnic is a fan-run event on Toronto's Centre Island organized by Toronto-area cosplayers and photographers. The Toronto Cosplay Picnic means different things to different people. Some zero in on the word "cosplay" and see the event as a reason to dress up in costume. Others zero in on the word "picnic", seeing the event as an excuse to take out picnic blankets and hang out with friends. And others still zero in on the idea of a "photoshoot" and come to the picnic either to take pictures of cosplayers or to get photos taken of their costumes. The Toronto Cosplay Picnic is a mixture of all of these elements and a lot of fun.

2009 was the sixth year the picnic took place. The picnic was a huge success, drawing more people than any of the years previous. We thank you for coming out and making the 2009 the wonderful picnic that it was!
