I fully acknowledge the fact that I do not own any of the titles and properties mentioned on this website.

However, it is my hope that this website promotes these titles and encourages visitors to purchase them officially, if and when possible.

I'm running this website because it serves as a creative outlet, because it's fun, and because it's my little way of supporting the anime community. The last thing I want is a lawsuit.

If, for any reason, those that hold the rights to the titles mentioned on this website wish it removed or edited, they merely need to ask and I will do everything I can to accommodate them.

On Fansubs and Illegal Distribution

There are sections on LELOLA that deal with fansubs. An example of this is the Gravitation screencaps. These were made from the fansubs long before the series was licensed. At that point in time, there was no other way to get a hold of Gravitation with English subtitles. I did make my screenshots out of fansubbed material. However, if the official DVDs were out at the time, I would have made the screencaps from them. The only reason they have not been replaced is because of the time it would take to replace them. Just because there is fansubbed material in certain areas of this websites does not mean I support the distribution of them.

As for fansubs, distribution of them should cease once a title has been licensed. If you've seen a series fansubbed and enjoyed it, I encourage you to purchase the official licensed version.

Furthermore, illegal Hong Kong subtitled material should not be used to substitute official licensed material.

This website does not support the purchasing or distribution of illegally obtained material.


On Accuracy

This is a fan-made and fan-run website. I do not claim otherwise. This site is in no way official (or professional, for that matter).

That automatically means that all content should be taken with a grain of salt. I try my hardest to make the information available here as accurate as possible, but things changes with time, and being human, I can be guilty of human error.

Furthermore, please note that the content of this site may change at any time without any warning. I'm always updating.


Privacy

LELOLA does not collect personal information. I don't care who you are, where you're from or what kind of computer you have. Standard information is logged by the server when you visit this website, but that's true of almost all websites.

The only information I sometimes collect is usernames and e-mail addresses, which are used with permission when displaying user submitted material to this website on this website.

LELOLA cannot be held responsible for any third party websites that it links to. These websites are operated by parties LELOLA has no control over. LELOLA cannot guarantee these links.
