I've wanted to make Ryuichi's pink bunny outfit since I first saw Gravitation. It's such a funky outfit, and it's not only pink, it's a bunny! ^^

My friend, Sakuma-san, wanted a costume for Anime North 2003, and since I was planning on making the pink bunny outfit regardless, I made it for him.
It was challenging since I had to make it for Sakuma-san. I borrowed a pair of his sweatpants and one of his sweatshirts to make sure I got the size right.
The overalls were fairly straightforward. The top proves a little more difficult and I had to make the patterns myself. Since my sewing machine decided to go kaboom, the entire top was hand sewed. ><; I also ran out of pink polar fleece (do you have any idea how hard it is to find pink polar fleece?) before I could make the feet. ;_;
The entire costume was made out of polar fleece, so it's nice and warm and has the same texture as the one from the series. ^^ It's so cute! Sakuma loved it, and looked just like Ryuichi, so in the end, it was all worth it. ^^
This costume is so cute. It's so fun to glomp Sakuma when he's wearing it. ^^

Oh, and I made my Kumagoro (stuffed pink bunny rabbit) matching overalls. WAI! So cute! ^^
At MAX 2003, Amanda wore the costume. Some little kids thought she was Super Mario. ^^;
I've only worn the costume once, and that was to school. My teacher wouldn't let me take my Kumagoro to class, so I brought a Kuma he couldn't kick out. Mwhahahahahahaha!
