I was dragged into a Fullmetal Alchemist Homunculus group with my friends. ^^; I had only seen four episodes at the time so I didn't know who Wrath was. I was given two reference images and some spoilers and went to work on my costume.
_________Misc
I made the shorts by altering a pair of black tights. I made the shirt out of a small black turtleneck that I've had for what feels like forever. (For the record the costume is even more revealing that Envy's. ><;) The armband and legband were made out a pair of black socks.
I didn't make the lose T-shirt he wears over his outfit, because I couldn't get clear reference images of it and because no one told me that he wore it all the time. ^^;;; But it still worked.
The red "ribbons" were tricky. I made mine at the same time Becky made hers for her Envy costume. We made them out of thin strips of red felt that we sewed to the costume. Figuring out how Wrath's worked was annoying since if I taped them completely to my skin, I wouldn't be able to move and stretch properly. I ended up using double-sided tape to attach them, but it still bunched up when I bent down. ><;
I ended up using my own hair for this costume. I know this is a big no-no, but my hair is long and shaggy enough to do it, and since I made this costume as a favor, I didn't really care enough about it to buy a wig. ^^;
[spoilers] Since Wrath is a Homunculus, he has Ed's arm and leg and so, his skin is discolored. I used spray-on pantyhose to discolor my skin for the effect. Amanda painted Ed's scar on my arm and viola, I was done. [/spoilers]
Do not wear this costume in public in the middle of winter. It lacks... clothes.
